The Things We Love | Family

Sometimes a session is just plain fun…regardless of the summer heat and sweat rolling down everyones back…it was still just plain fun! This family has been part of our lives for years and we were so thrilled to be able to take them out for a family session with the sweet grandparents joining us! We ventured to Old Town Manassas, such a neat location, we really enjoy shooting there. August was certainly making an impression with high temps and humidity to match…it was sweltering…so much so that Kelton’s phone actually stuck to his chest…sticky sweat! They were all champs about the whole evening, happy smiles, and genuine fun laughter moments! Sessions like this are so special to us, lighthearted and joyful, capturing memories blesses our hearts! This area is so neat because there is a great variety of backdrops to be found within a few blocks of each other. We strolled along the way from the train station, passing “The Things I Love” and looped back around in time for a few shots along the tracks before the train came. This turned into a great moment for a unique capture as the Virginia Railroad came through…so fondly remembered time and place! We’re thankful for friends and family like this and these sweet moments shared!
