Loving Lake Time | Family

Fall Family Session    |    Silver Lake    |    November 2019

We always know an evening shared with this precious family is going to be filled with joyful smiles & lots of laughs! This year was certainly that!! We decided to capture their fall family portraits at Silver Lake this year – it’s such a beautiful location and we were fortunate to find the trees were still hanging on to some of their lovely fall leaves – while many had already settled on the ground below.

It makes our hearts so happy when our littles enjoy their sessions as much as these boys do!  We were told they had been looking forward to getting their pictures taken all day – and were so excited for their evening with us!  We simply have the BEST clients!!!

They are absolutely adorable & keep us laughing the whole session.  Lauren has the best style and this family always looks perfect in their fall outfits!  We delight in the blend of colors, fabrics and accessories she creates.  This year we had the added bonus of capturing their precious pup too… we all love our fur babies!

This years session wrapped up with a splash … literally …

Thankfully we’d captured all their cuteness and were catching up on life while the boys were having fun climbing around on a stump near the water, just as luck would have it, one of them took a little slip and into the marshy mud along the waters edge he went! He popped right back up laughing, like it was no big deal while Mom & Dad handled it like champs … pretty much ‘well we could’ve seen that coming’. We all made the most of the moment and even captured a few extra shots … ah the memories. He’s such a cutie and certainly wasn’t going to let a little spill dampen his joyful spirit!  We could all learn a lesson from that – keep laughing and loving life even when we’re wearing a little mud!!!
